Alcohol & Eat Stop Eat

Postby WhiteHulk4 on Fri Jan 04, 2008 8:47 pm

Can you drink any alcohol, beer, wine, whatever while following this type of eating method?

I'm thinking that as long as there's no alcohol in your system during the 24 fasting period, then you should still get all the benefits of fasting?

Obviously you couldn't drink up until the cut off time, because it takes hours to get of your system...

Wait did I just answer my own question?

Actually I'd love to here Brad's comments on this subject!

Hum, my thoughts....I've eaten food containing fats that would slow digestion immediately prior to a fast and still have had success with this plan. I'd assume it boils down to caloric consumpition within that 24 hour fast period not digestion/metabolism....alcohol metabolism as well; however, I'm interested in hearing Brad's take on this too.

I actually thought about consuming fish oil w/ protein immediately prior to a fast to slow digestion and ward off hunger when I first started fasting. Then like you, I thought the slowed digestion would hinder the fasting benefits.

Then I thought I was thinking too much about it! (tee hee)

THEN I forgot to ask!

hum! interesting!!
