Hello

New Members Introduce Yourself Here!

Hello

:) My this IS a sleepy little group..........maybe everyone is busy at
their respective gyms and just toooo tired to post though.........a good thing. What ever....by way of explanation I suppose I should start by saying I found the GrrlAthlete site around the first of August as a result of 'googling' for assists for doing 'chins' and bumbled my way onto the forum portion as a result.

Since this is the place to 'introduce' oneself I guess I'll start by
mentioning that I am 69 years old and have been lifting now for 12 years
and have been grateful everyday since then that I found, albeit a little
late, this amazing activity. If you allow yourself to think, because of my degree of maturity, I'm an "old lady" you'd be way off the mark, wink.........

I've been 'stealth'ing' (Not sure there is such a
word ............... well, before NOW at any rate!) my way around the forum
for a bit and have printed several things I felt informative.........ie.something from 'scorpiogrrl's' blog which I will share
with friends. Forums can be a major source of information and encouragement for us women and possibly more for us mature women, who have invaded gyms but find fewer contemporaries ( than our younger 'sisters') with whom to share information and support. It would be nice if the forum would 'wake up' and come alive..........I'll keep hoping and checking.........
trinity  :D :D
