3 sets or 4 ?

Postby scorpiogrrl on Fri Dec 07, 2007 4:45 am

hi John,

have started doing the advanced level circuits for a few weeks for my training. Train in my lunch "hour" finding 4x thru each circuit + the 4 minute rest between each (as you said some time back, needed by the end of the 2nd round !) makes for quite a long workout, a bit too long for the time I have.

How much difference is there doing 3 sets of each circuit instead of 4 ? I did that today and cut back the rest between the circuits to 2mins to compensate for doing less work. Made for a much shorter workout and still felt pretty effective. Interested in your professional feedback.

thanks, Donna
